Originally from China, I moved to New York City with my parents
when I was nine. For over fifteen years, I’ve lived in this fast-paced,
energetic city. The mix of cultures, constant motion, and creative
youth here have deeply influenced my design career.
Like many, my initial choice of career wasn't in design, I was
committed to becoming a software engineer when I started college.
It wasn't until my sophomore year that I was exposed to design
courses, particularly in motion design, and have fallen in love since then.
My work in human-centered design focuses on observing how
people live, interact, and solve problems in urban environments.
I aim to create solutions that feel both universal and personal,
keeping culture in mind, and aim to create designs that are both
beautiful and useful for all.
